Reminder: Holy Mass for the Feast of the Ascension will be at 6:00 PM on this Thursday, May 1, 2008, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry.

Congratulations to Caleb for his first Holy Communion this past Sunday! Everyone should pray that he remains ever truly faithful to Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament.

Also, the choir will be joining a national Gregorian chant choir organization, and it needs a special name for the choir. A clever Latin name would work best for those interested in thinking of one.

Today I believe is Pope Benedict’s 81st birthday. We should all welcome the Pontiff since he’s visiting America this week, as well as pray for him as much as possible. He needs it.

Hi folks. There are several people who’d like to have a Eucharistic Procession on May 25th, the Sunday within the Octave of Corpus Christi. However, this event has to be planned, etc.  So what you have to do is request it to the chaplain, Fr. Roland Vaughn.
